Welcome to Game X! These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of products on gamex.ae and our mobile application (collectively, the “Site”). By placing an order on the Site, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Order Acceptance

  1. Seller: Products are sold either by Game X or by third-party sellers specified on the Site.
  2. Order Confirmation: Your order is accepted when we notify you in writing (e.g., email or “SMS”). If we cannot accept your order, we will inform you and not charge you.
  3. Payment:
    1. Payment methods include credit/debit cards and wallet payments.
    2. We may use third-party payment processors, and you authorize us to share your details with them.
    3. We reserve the right to add or remove payment methods without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Customer Cancellation: You may cancel your order before shipping for any reason.
  2. Game X Cancellation: We may cancel your order if:
    1. Payment is not made on time.
    2. Necessary information for delivery is not provided.
    3. Delivery is refused or delayed by you.
    4. Bulk or multiple orders are detected (“at our discretion”).
    5. The product is unavailable.
  3. Delivery

    1. Delivery Costs: Displayed on the Site at checkout.
    2. Delivery Date: Provided during checkout.
    3. Delivery Delays:
      1. Delays due to unforeseen events (e.g., natural disasters) will be communicated promptly.
      2. If delivery fails, we will notify you to rearrange delivery or collection.
    4. International Delivery:
      1. For overseas orders, you are the importer of record and responsible for customs duties and compliance with local laws.
    5. Ownership: Products become your responsibility upon delivery to the specified address.

Returns, Replacements, & Exchanges

  1. Eligibility for Returns:
    1. Wrong Product: Received a different product than ordered.
    2. Not as Described: Product does not match the Site description.
    3. Damaged Product: Product is damaged upon delivery.
    4. Change of Mind: Allowed within 15 days for unused products in original packaging.
  2. Non-Returnable Products:
    1. Hazardous materials, consumables, used/damaged products, and items with tampered serial numbers.
    2. Specific categories (e.g., food, swimwear, digital books, personal care products).
  3. Refunds:
    1. Faulty or Incorrect Products: Full refund (excluding original shipping fees) plus return shipping costs.
    2. Change of Mind: Refund of product price (excluding shipping fees). Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
    3. Refund Method:
      1. Credit/debit card: Within 30 days of receiving the returned product.
      2. Wallet: Immediate refund after inspection.

Warranty

  1. Coverage:
    1. Protects against manufacturing defects in material, design, or workmanship.
    2. Warranty duration varies by product (e.g., 1 year for most products, 3 years for DEVO monitors).
    3. Repairs or replacements do not extend the warranty period.
  2. Exclusions:
    1. Damage from accidents, misuse, liquid exposure, or unauthorized repairs.
    2. Tampered serial numbers or use of non-original accessories.
    3. Normal wear and tear or consumables (e.g., batteries, printer ink).
  3. Repair Process:
    1. Maximum repair time: 14 days from receipt at the service center.
    2. If repair is not possible, replacement or refund will be offered.

Liability

  1. Our Liability:
    1. We are not liable for:
      1. Delays or failures caused by you.
      2. Data loss during repairs or replacements.
      3. Damages from unauthorized repairs or misuse.
    2. Total liability is limited to the product price or AED 300, whichever is lower.
  2. Your Indemnity:
    1. You agree to indemnify us against losses arising from your use of the Site or violation of these terms.

General Terms

  1. Dispute Resolution:
    1. Contact us via the “Need Help?” section in your account for assistance.
  2. Amendments:
    1. We may update these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting on the Site.
  3. Force Majeure:
    1. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, government actions).
  4. Governing Law:
    1. These terms are governed by UAE laws. Disputes will be resolved by UAE courts.
